Dorney Lake wins at Doncaster!
Ardad’s Dorney Lake, bred at Mickley Stud in partnership with Tim & Miranda Johnson, has won two from two this year, and is now a four-time winner.
He had lots of work to do in the closing stages at Doncaster but finished strongly to score for trainer Michael Bell and jockey Benoit De La Sayette! A ready winner at Yarmouth last time, the gelding came from near last to first to follow up in a similar fashion off the 6lb rise, again winning with something to spare.
