First crop Stakes winner for UBETTABELIEVEIT!
Promising 3yo colt HILITANY showed an impressive run of foot to win the Listed Spring Cup Stakes at Lingfield, delivering a lovely performance. Hilitany got a fantastic ride from Billy Loughnane who swooped by them all, and full credit to trainer George Boughey. The colt ran on inside final furlong and won going away under a well-timed ride.
He previously ran well in three sprint races in Dubai, and saw out this extra furlong strongly, showing a good turn of foot. Having contested the Group 1 Middle Park last year, he could make his mark back up in class this year.
The talented Ubettabelieveit colt was bred by Peter Balding out of Sand And Deliver, making him a half-brother to Coventry Stakes third Columnist.
Hilitany has twice been through the sales ring, most recently when selling to Stroud Coleman for £300,000 at the Goffs UK Breeze-Up Sale last spring.
