We were pleased to see a Racing Post Feature on TOKAIDO, the Group 3-winning 2yo son of Ubettabelieveit who has just racked up his third win at Deauville.
Unbeaten in his last three starts, it shows you what an eternal dreamer can do! Patience was certainly rewarded for Mickley’s Richard Kent as Tokaido rewarded the faith placed in his dam, with a Group 3 breakthrough. He was her 11th foal, and most people wouldn’t keep going for 11 foals to get the black-type horse.
The mare Dora’s Sister had however produced 4 previous winners before Tokaido, including the very decent Dorney Lake, who won four races for Michael Bell.
