Multiplex gelding THE RESDEV WAY had only run on Fibresand once before, and he took to the surface well on his return to Southwell, cruising round and winning with any amount in hand. His jockey P J McDonald looked to have it all sewn up from two furlongs out, and trainer Philip Kirby can expect the handicapper to take note as he proved himself a different horse on the this surface, winning with ease.
