Sired by Mickley Stud’s late stallion Karinga Bay, Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Coneygree made history as the first novice to land the most illustrious prize in steeple chasing since Captain Christy joined chasing’s elite 41 years ago. Bred by Lord Oaksey out of his mare, Plaid Maid, this was a fantastic training achievement, and what a race!! Truly a special moment and we couldn’t be happier for all involved.
