Multiplex mare DARK CRYSTAL achieved a quick follow up on her success at Hamilton only five days ago with a win at Ayr today. She anticipated the start, and was in the air when the gates went back, but she was soon into her stride, never worse than third, and she stayed on best of all. She was defying a penalty for her Hamilton win but Lewis Edmunds took a welcome 5lbs off, earning her sixth course success and ninth career win overall. Well done to the Linda Perratt stable.
