DOCKLANDS wins the Doncaster Mile!

The son of MASSAAT opened his account for 2026 with a masterclass on the opening day of the flat season at Doncaster in the Listed Doncaster Mile Stakes.

Perhaps best known for his success at Royal Ascot, the Group 1 Queen Anne winner, an entire son of MASSAAT comfortably landed his first race away from Ascot since breaking his maiden at Kempton nearly three years ago. That was his fifth career success, taking his total earnings to £1,287,920.

He did no more than he was entitled to but this proves he’ll be a force in a higher grade again this year, particularly at his favourite track. The Massaat six-year-old was bred by Mickley Stud out of Icky Woo, making him a half-brother to smart performers Ickymasho and Harbour Views.

Congratulations to trainer Harry Eustace, jockey Jamie Spencer, and owners OTI Racing.
