European Bloodstock News have put the spotlight on yesterday’s purchase of a Garswood filly from Mickley Stud, which went for 48,000gns. Trainer Mick Quinn was keen to secure the yearling for his owner Kenneth Bruce, due in part to her being a half-sister to dual 2yo winner Peggy’s Angel, who is out of Dora’s Sister, a mare part-owned by Richard Kent.
