Mickley-bred horses have been enjoying a good pre-Xmas run, with two winners for our former stallion Central Park today (McGowans Pass and Sunday Central) and yesterday saw another win for Sunshineandbubbles (by Multiplex).
McGowans Pass won his second race from only four starts, staying on strongly in arduous conditions at Ayr for trainer Sandy Thomson, while Sunday Central lost his maiden tag at Uttoxeter, leading them home from two out in the 2m 4f Handicap Hurdle.
Sunshineandbubbles was enjoying her second career win, this time at Southwell, with Rossa Ryan in the saddle on only her fourth start following a change of stables, so congratulations to connections at the Jennie Candlish yard.
