MOTAKHAYYEL, 4yo son of Heeraat, the winner of the Buckingham Palace at Royal Ascot on his reappearance, today defied a 7lb rise to win another top handicap at Newmarket. He faced some classy opposition in the prestigious Bunbury Cup, and cruised into the lead at and found plenty for pressure on the climb to the line to take down the prestigious Bunbury Cup. The way he travels suggests he’ll be able to cut it at pattern level. A great ride from Jim Crowley and training performance from Richard Hannon – congratulations to all connections.
