Bred by Mickley Stud in partnership with Mrs J McMahon, the Heeraat gelding PACKINGTON LANE enjoyed a well-deserved success for trainer Tim Easterby and connections when successful in an open contest at Beverley today which was run at an honest pace.
PACKINGTON LANE, with David Allan in the saddle, was sharply away from the gates and having moved smoothly against the inside rail was always doing enough inside the final furlong to break his maiden. A progressive type with some good placed efforts already, he made almost all the running today and looks capable of better.
