Impressive performance at Newcastle!
Proper horse! Sold to Glenvale Stud for 95,000 guineas at Tattersalls when consigned by Mickley Stud as a foal, and re-sold at the Arqana breeze-ups for €280,000, the Too Darn Hot colt LA BOTTE streaked clear in the closing stages to get off the mark for Harry Eustace and George Wood, winning by 6½ lengths in the Maiden Stakes.
He caught the eye when finishing third behind the then 95-rated Hott Shott on his debut at Kempton in October and has certainly built on that on his seasonal debut, doing his best work inside the last in stylish fashion. He looks a useful prospect.
Well done to all connections!
