LEXINGTON HERO, who showed some ability on his debut at Kempton and was open to more improvement than the others, took over in front on the first bend at Wolverhampton and was allowed to dictate a steady gallop. He made the most of it, gradually drawing clear in the straight and kept on strongly in the final furlong, winning going away.
