Hertfordshire trainer Dean Ivory had the first two home in the 7f handicap at Chelmsford last night and it was the Multiplex mare LUCYMAI who took the honours with stablemate Firmdecisions chasing her home. Lucymai won well over the C&D in November, and despite a 10lb rise in the weights, she showed that she’s a mare firmly on the upgrade, seeing off her stablemate to win comfortably. She seems capable of defying another rise and looks one to follow.
