Lady Valeur (by Multiplex) came a very close 3rd in the Group 1 American Oaks at Santa Anita, in California, last night continuing the stallion’s fine recent run of winners and placed horses. Beaten by only a nose and half a length, Lady Valeur was unsuccessful in trying to follow up her recent Listed win, but was by no means disgraced in the Oaks and takes her earnings to £83,455.71. She was previously 2nd in a Group 2 race at Del Mar, so she is in great form and a testament to her sire.
