A lovely job by the Mickley Stud bred Chebsey Beau, by Multiplex, winning first time over fences at Market Rasen yesterday for long time supporter Mary Greaves and trainer John Quinn. He was racing off his last winning hurdles mark for this chasing debut. Ridden patiently, he made good progress and had too much speed for the favourite, was shaken up to lead last 200yds, and eased in the closing stages to win by 2.5 lengths.
