ONE BOY, a six year old Captain Gerrard gelding, landed his SEVENTH career success today, winning at Beverley, and staying on well in testing ground, which he does seem to relish. He has achieved three wins and five placed efforts from 13 starts on soft ground or worse. Two runs ago he won on soft ground at Hamilton for trainer Paul Midgley, and is proving to be a reliable campaigner for connections!
