PACINO clocked up another 2yo winner for our popular new stallion Heeraat when winning a novice event at Wolverhampton for owners the Merchants and Missionaries syndicate. Bred by Richard Kent at Mickley Stud, out of the Street Cry mare Ringtail, the gelding was knocked down to Peter & Ross Doyle Bloodstock for £48,000 at last year’s Goffs Silver Sale and should have a bright future. Pacino was returning from a ten-week break, and appreciated the step up to 6f, showing the right attitude to fend off a strong challenge in the final furlong. He should develop into a decent performer for trainer Richard Fahey and will be capable of longer trips. Congratulations to all connections.
