Bred by Lord Marchwood, and sold by Mickley Stud as a yearling at Goffs Silver Sale, the Marco Botti trained EVENING SONG won on her 2nd start at Chelmsford. She had shaped well on her debut at Wolverhampton last time out, and looked sure to come on for that. She was soon in front, set the pace, and wasn’t for catching once quickening up in the straight.
