The Mickley Stud bred THE DELRAY MUNKY, by Overbury, put up another gutsy performance in the snow to win easily at Ayr racecourse, his second win at the course in the last two weeks. Sent off the odds-on favourite in today’s small field, rider Ross Chapman tracked the leader, and made smooth headway to lead after 3 out, but had to battle to maintain his lead after the last and kept on gamely towards the finish to land a deserved success for trainer Iain Jardine.
