At Beverley, the 3 year old BAHUTA ACHA did really well to recover from a tricky start to land his second win. He improved vastly for his comeback here last month, where he did well after being stuck behind a wall of horses, and has to be rated value for further than the bare margin. Hopefully he can defy another rise in the weights, as Shropshire-based trainer David Loughnane has always thought a bit about him.
Elsewhere, in a competitive race at Bath, nothing could get near to the winner KING CRIMSON. He went scorching off and had opened up a big lead by halfway, but he had enough in the tank to hold on in the closing stages. His last two starts suggested that he was ready to cash in on his current mark and he is clearly back in the groove again now for trainer John Butler.
