Stable Switch Works Wonders!
On his stable debut for Michael Bell, DORNEY LAKE won at well at Yarmouth.
Bred by Mickley Stud in partnership with Tim & Miranda Johnson, he sold as a foal for 58,000gns, and was later picked up by Stroud Coleman Bloodstock at the Tattersalls Book 2 yearling sale for 110,000gns.
This was his third win, but didn’t made much impact in handicaps for the Gosden stable last season, though he certainly got back on track for his new yard.
He won back to back races at the start of last season and the style of this success suggests he could repeat the feat. He was held up but stayed in touch with the leaders, making headway 2f out, and led inside final furlong, staying on well, and won going away.
