Captain Gerrard 2yo HUNNI ran into a decent horse when second last time at Windsor but franked that form with a win at Newmarket today. In the Class 2 handicap for 2yos, HUNNI was the first under pressure, but she responded gamely to lead with 150 yards to go. The return to 6f helped and this was a nice race for her to break her duck in. Her attitude should bring her and trainer Tom Clover more success. Well done to rider Kieran O’Neill and connections.
