Bred by Lady Caroline Lonsdale and Mickley Stud, Havana Grey (by Havana Gold) goes on every surface. That takes his tally to two Listed wins (good to firm) and now a Group 3 (soft) and who knows where it will end?
HAVANA GREY had won three of his last four, the one disappointment coming in the Norfolk Stakes, and turned in a career-best effort on ground he’d never previously faced, grabbing the favoured stands’ rail and galloping on strongly to win with a bit in hand. He’s a top sprinting 2yo and will apparently head for the Prix Morny now.
