Trainer Mick Quinn won his first race of the 2017 campaign today with a daughter of Captain Gerrard. POPSILCA, bred by Mickley Stud in partnership with Mr W Whittle, defied the odds on her first handicap start and left her rivals in her wake to land the 32RED CASINO HANDICAP. This was a well-timed ride by William Carson who seized the lead in the last 100yds, and stayed on well. A nice result for all connections at 33/1!
