Captain Gerrard kept up his impressive strike rate of winners to runners with Suni Dancer at Newcastle Races yesterday! The mare hadn´t won on the All-Weather before, but followed up on her win at Brighton last time out, taking down the 6 furlong handicap in fine style for trainer Tony Carroll. She came through from off the pace to win well and this track seemed to suit her. Back from 57 days off, Suni Dancer also provided Tony’s 3lb claimer George Downing with a double on the day.
