By Multiplex, and bred by Mickley Stud, DIAMOND LADY won the Lyons O’Neill Fillies’ Handicap over 6f at Lingfield tonight for trainer William Stone. She relished the strong gallop set by a speedy front-runner, and settled well, within striking distance of the leader. Starting her challenge 2f out, she made the race her own inside the final furlong, winning by nearly 2 lengths, under an excellent ride from Adam Beschizza. Diamond Lady is a previous C&D winner and was coming back off a five-month break to record her sixth career win.
