At Lingfield last night, DIAMOND LADY triumphed in the early battle for position and kept finding more for her rider Hollie Doyle to hold off the persistent challenge of the runner up. That was the Multiplex mare’s first win on turf since 2014, but she won on Lingfield’s all weather track back in April and this was her seventh career success. She should continue to run well for trainer William Stone, who has been having a good 2017 with his small string. Well done to him and all connections in the “Going Great Guns Partnership”.
