One for the boss, as the 2yo filly A GO GO wins the opener at Wolverhampton! She runs in Richard Kent’s colours, and is the 16th and last foal out of our foundation broodmare Gagajulu. A Go Go is trained by David Evans who also trained the mare to win five 2 year old races 24 years ago! We are very proud of her, especially as she represents another Mickley 2yo winner by HEERAAT.
She had shown ability over 6f at Ffos Las last time out, and built on that to win a shade cosily over the minimum trip. She is a half-sister to Irish 1,000 Guineas runner-up and Group 3 winner Ardbrae Lady, so we are not surprised that she has shown some talent, and will hopefully do go on to achieve more over longer trips.
