Homebred DORNEY LAKE bolts up on his seasonal reappearance at Yarmouth!
Bred by Mickley Stud in partnership with Tim & Miranda Johnson, the colt was sold at Tattersalls Foal sale, pinhooked by Kildaragh Stud, and resold as a yearling for £110,000. Now in training with The Gosdens, the colt was fifth in a Glorious Goodwood maiden on his only previous start. Benoit De La Sayette was in the plate today and started quickly, letting the horse made all the running, then went clear inside final furlong, and won easily by 3 1/2 lengths for owners Godolphin.
