Another winner today for Massaat, as the 3yo filly MARUNA came home strongly on the rail at Newcastle to get off the mark at the second attempt for trainer Mick Appleby and pilot Jason Hart.
The filly was a bit green on her debut at Wolverhampton last week, but had made good late headway over 7f on that occasion, and clearly appreciated the step up to a mile today.
