He got first run on the closers in the straight, and has proved he is well suited by the 2 mile trip. Phillip Makin gave this son of Multiplex an assured ride, tracking the leader until taking the lead on the bit 2f out, then staying on to win quite comfortably by 1 1/2 lengths, becoming the only winning favourite of the day. He’s a progressive stayer who can go on to have more success with trainer Marjorie Fife. Well done all.
