The mares handicap at Ayr was run at a good gallop and the Mickley Stud bred THE DELRAY MUNKY was a runaway winner. The six year old, by our former stallion Overbury, didn’t appreciate the step up to 3m2f on her handicap debut last time, but dropping back to 2m 3f today she turned in a much improved effort. She clearly relished the conditions and won by a wide margin. Hopefully she will now be able to build on this success for trainer Iain Jardine.
