Bred by Mike & Tina Bullock of Crossfields Bloodstock at Bearstone Stud, this son of Mickley Stud’s HEERAAT was purchased by Shadwell Stud at Tattersalls Oct Book 2 Yearling Sale for 100,000gns.
MOTAKHAYYEL, who won this race off a 4lb lower mark last year, delivered the prize in a much easier fashion today. Always in a handy position, he quickly settled matters when asked to go and win his race and Frankie Dettori was able to take things easy towards the finish. A fine second in a C&D Group 3 last time, he clearly loves this place and fast ground suits him ideally.
