Multigifted and El Hombre Make It A Mickley Double!

We saw two winners today who were bred at Mickley Stud, with Multigifted winning at Newbury, while up at Hamilton El Hombre, bred with Joy Macmahon, earned his second career success.

The sprint handicap at Hamilton was won in spectacular style by a 3yo colt by Camacho who seems to be going places. EL HOMBRE had looked to be the type to improve when 2nd at Ayr last week and he ran a cracker today. He hit the front a long way out and produced an imperious display. This was his second win from six starts so more improvement is likely and should go on to even better things for trainer Keith Dalgleish.

At Newbury, MULTIGIFTED arrived in form off a feasible mark back on turf and got the job done in testing conditions. The Michael Madgwick trained filly acts on soft and stays further, so she was able to gamely see off this opposition in the final furlong. It was a resolute winning performance under a positive ride from George Wood.
