Three more winners for Multiplex in the last few days with Paddyplex and Lucymai both winning on the flat, and Positively Dylan enjoying success over hurdles.
LUCYMAI stayed on powerfully to win cosily at Chelmsford on Monday, getting a great ride from Robert Winston. Placed over a mile on her last start three months ago, she was returning to what is probably her optimum trip and now has won twice for trainer Dean Ivory. She doesnt have many miles on the clock, so hopefully there will be more to come.
PADDYPLEX had only had three unplaced runs in bumpers for trainer Keith Dalgleish but relished the drop in trip to a mile and a quarter for the maiden race at Ayr on Tuesday and took the market by surprise, winning at odds of 14/1 on his Flat debut for rider Phillip Makin. He travelled nicely and saw his race out well, and his trainer expects he’ll get another couple of furlongs.
At Ffos Las yesterday, POSITIVELY DYLAN won a competitive handicap for Evan Williams and jockey Adam Wedge. He had previously shown ability in bumpers, and was unlucky at Lingfield on his previous start. Yesterday he took the lead two out, and stayed on well, nicely in control towards the finish.
