The 3yo Multiplex filly SUNSHINEANDBUBBLES made all to repel the favourite in the Median Auction Maiden at Lingfield yesterday, with George Downing getting the better of Adam Kirby in a tight finish. She has gone close before this, and her trainer said that she works a lot better than her current rating so the win was overdue. Sold by Mickley Stud as a yearling after being bred and raised here, she is out of a dam who has always produced multiple winners, so connections are more than hopeful she can build on this success. Owned by the Amazing Racing Syndicate, Manager David Allan said, “It’s not the first time Richard Kent has pointed me in the direction of a half-decent filly, and hopefully it wont be the last!!”
