Dream Team, son of Captain Gerrard, made it two on the bounce when winning the first race at Southwell today for Paul Mulrennan and Michael Dods, emerging through the fog to stay on well in the final furlong. He really seems to have appreciated the step up to a mile, and is now unbeaten at the trip!
On the same card, another Mickley Stud graduate certainly took to the Fibresand surface on his first try, with VROOM living up to his name when winning the 0-70 Claimer for Gay Kelleway. He travelled strongly throughout and pulled away in the straight. One for the notebook over the winter.
