ONE BOY, a son of Captain Gerrard, was runner-up at Hamilton five days ago but went one better today at Beverley and was never headed as he dominated from the front. The ground was in his favour and he had dropped 12lb since last successful over C&D so hopefully he can now follow up. Congratulations to winning connections!
