As part of the build up to the Cheltenham Festival, Martin Stevens has written a very good article in the Racing Post about the Mickley Stud bred Tobefair, a leading fancy to take on the big boys at the Festival. Tobefair has won all seven of his races over hurdles since moving to trainer Debra Hamer, and has become something of a phenomenon. The seven year old had a handicap rating of 134 for his last win at Newbury, and has since gone up to 143. It’s the stuff that dreams are made of and it all started right here at Mickley Stud.
