Two Multiplex winners today, with a sprinter at Wolverhampton and a hurdler at Uttoxeter.
INVISIBLE STORM, returning from a two-month break, set the standard based on her debut fourth over this C&D in April and clearly appreciated getting back on Tapeta. The daughter of Multiplex broke sharply from a poor draw and did well to dominate thereafter, finding plenty in the final furlong. She should stay 7f and will hopefully go on to win more for trainer William Stone and connections.
COMPETITION demonstrated that his C&D victory last time out was worthy form by showing a good turn of foot to follow up with another success at Uttoxeter. Held up in the early stages while going keenly, he took over at the last to win going away. He is not the most fluent of jumpers but this acceleration will stand him in good stead for the stronger challenges that he will no doubt will face in future races. Well done to Dr Richard Newland and Sam Twiston-Davies.
