Another winner for Mickley Stud’s Heeraat as MAGICAL WISH wins the Pattonair Derby EBF Novice Stakes at Windsor tonight. This was a decent juvenile contest which produced a thrilling finish.
MAGICAL WISH, bought out of the Goffs UK Premier Yearling Stakes by Peter and Ross Doyle, went agonisingly close when only beaten a short head on his debut in a Salisbury contest which has worked out well.
He had to pull out all the stops to get the better of some good two year olds tonight, and showed a willing attitude in doing so. He’s a nice colt who should be one to follow. Congratulations to connections, trainer Richard Hannon, and jockey Silvestre De Sousa.
