Two hurdles winners yesterday for Multiplex, showing the versatility of our former stallion!
ZEBI BOY, was the winner of two C&D handicaps in May, and back at Uttoxeter last night was up a total of 14lb in the handicap, but completed his hat-trick and showed he is a resolute galloper who may have even more to offer.
Also at Uttoxeter, COMPETITION got off the mark in a novice hurdle for trainer Dr Richard Newland and jockey Sam Twiston-Davies on his fourth start for the yard. The Multiplex gelding had recently been placed on the flat for connections and today put his earlier hurdles run well behind him, winning by 17 lengths. He overturned the odds-on favourite and won without turning a hair. Well done all.
