A great bit of training by Dave Evans, and a terrific ride by Adam Kirby aboard Mia Cara at Lingfield Park today. She was jointly bred by Mickley Stud and Lady Lonsdale and the 3yo filly continues to be owned by the partnership.
Dropped back in trip, and still 4lb higher than when winning at Wolverhampton in January, Mia Cara did well from the draw, was kept handy, and was always going to win after being driven clear inside the last. She is a typically tough customer from the Evans yard and more races will be won with her.
