RAISE A SPARK chalked up another win for Multiplex when winning the 2 mile Handicap Hurdle this afternoon at Catterick. Jockey Will Kennedy made a race-winning move, coming wide to the stands rail off the home bend, and the gelding put in a guts performance off top weight. The ground suited him today, with plenty of cut underfoot, and trainer Donald McCain has plans for the 7 year old to try his luck over fences before too long. Part-owned by Richard Kent in partnership with co-breeder R Pattinson, the gelding was recording his third win and looks sure to build on this success.
